1. Introduction

Welcome to Chicken Road ("Company", "we", "our", "us")! These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") govern your use of our website located at www.chickenroad.com (together or individually "Service") operated by Chicken Road.

Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of our Service and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our web pages. Your agreement with us includes these Terms and our Privacy Policy ("Agreements"). You acknowledge that you have read and understood Agreements, and agree to be bound by them.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

2. Event Participation

When participating in our role-play events and costume parties, you agree to the following:

Age Requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in adult-themed events. Family-friendly events may allow participants under 18 with parent/guardian supervision.
Code of Conduct: You agree to behave respectfully toward all participants, staff, and venue property. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.
Character Portrayal: While in character, you agree to respect the boundaries set by the event organizers and other participants.
Photography and Recording: We may photograph or record events for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded unless you specifically opt out by notifying staff.

3. Bookings and Reservations

When booking an event or workshop with Chicken Road, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified for certain events.
Cancellations: Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made 7-13 days before the event date are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event date are not eligible for a refund.
Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule must be made at least 7 days before the event date and are subject to availability.
Event Changes: Chicken Road reserves the right to modify event details, including but not limited to date, time, venue, and content. In case of significant changes, participants will be notified and offered the option to receive a full refund if they cannot attend the modified event.

4. Health and Safety

Your safety is our priority. By participating in our events, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Physical Activities: Some events involve physical activities. You are responsible for ensuring you are physically capable of participating.
Medical Conditions: You must inform us of any relevant medical conditions that might affect your participation.
Allergens: For events with food or beverages, you are responsible for informing us of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Emergency Procedures: You agree to follow all emergency procedures and staff instructions in case of an emergency.
Waivers: Certain events may require signing a separate waiver of liability.

5. Intellectual Property

Our events, character concepts, stories, and materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws:

Event Content: The scenarios, characters, storylines, and game mechanics created by Chicken Road remain our intellectual property.
User-Created Content: Any characters or stories you create while participating in our events remain your intellectual property, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and reference them in the context of the event and for promotional purposes.
Promotional Materials: Photos, videos, and testimonials from events may be used in our promotional materials unless you specifically opt out.

6. Website Usage

When using our website, you agree to the following terms:

Account Security: If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
Prohibited Activities: You may not use our website for any illegal purposes or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service

Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
